Wezesha Impact’s work primarily focuses on youth between the age of 15-30, not in employment and are navigating to transition into work. We also provide design and training support to youth-focused organisations and In 2008, Solomon and James, two passionate mentors for young leaders and entrepreneurs in secondary schools, joined forces to address a pressing issue in their communities. As they walked through their childhood villages, they were struck by the high rates of school dropouts, widespread unemployment, and the meagre incomes of youth. They realized that without intervention, the cycle of poverty would persist for generations to come.
Determined to break this cycle, Solomon and James founded the Wezesha Impact Program. Their mission is to equip youth in Africa with the skills, tools, and networks necessary for productive and fulfilling work. They firmly believe that every young man and woman has the potential to lead a productive life and contribute positively to society.
The vision of the Wezesha Impact Program is ambitious yet achievable: a future where all youth in Africa thrive socially and economically. By providing youth with the skills and support they need to succeed, the program is not only transforming individual lives but also building stronger, more resilient communities.
At the core of the Wezesha Impact is a commitment to empowering youth to take action that positively impacts their own lives.
The program’s model combines entrepreneurship and workplace readiness experiences with long-term mentorship and coaching, ensuring that young people not only find meaningful employment but also develop the skills and mindset needed to succeed in today’s competitive job market.
