Stanford University has started a project to help business creation among forcibly displaced people (FDPs). The program aims to promote entrepreneurship and small business creation by providing an entrepreneurship program that provides FDPs with an opportunity to work on their idea that can later turn into a business.
The program is a real entrepreneurship training that introduces the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, pioneered in Silicon Valley, and is now spreading across the world. You will learn the process that entrepreneurs use to start companies. It involves taking an idea and finding a commercial opportunity, gathering resources such as talent and capital, figuring out how to sell and market the idea, and managing rapid growth. The expected start date for the course is July 10th, 2023, and the program length is 9 weeks.
