The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at the University of Edinburgh offers an amazing opportunity for talented people from Sub-Saharan Africa. This scholarship is designed to support students who want to make a difference in their communities, especially in the areas of sustainability, climate change, and entrepreneurship. It provides access to 10 on-campus and eight online postgraduate programs that focus on creating solutions for climate action and other global challenges.
The scholarship is open to anyone who is a resident or citizen of a Sub-Saharan African country, including refugees. Applicants need to be 35 years old or younger at the start of the program. They must also show they have leadership skills and have overcome big challenges in their education, such as financial or social barriers.
